What to do with the kids this weekend?
Saturday morning, everyone is up, and there is no plan. Pick your kids' ages, how much time you have and how far you want to go. The weekend forecast fills itself in, and each day gets one suggestion, two alternatives and a plan B if it rains.
How old are the kids?
More than one? Tick every age and the ideas will suit all of them.
Where are you, and what's the weather?
Pick a city, type your town or use your location, and the weekend forecast sets itself. On holiday in Croatia? There you also get real places nearby, from Istria to Dalmatia.

How the tool chooses
Pick a town or share your location and the tool uses real places in reach. That covers Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, Osijek, Zadar, Pula and Varaždin, each with the area up to about 130 km away, plus Lika, Gorski kotar, Podravina, Slavonia, Šibenik and Dubrovnik. Nearer places come first, and city parks, pools and theatres are only offered in their own city. Everywhere else gets about fifty kinds of outings that work in any town. Every place and idea is tagged with age, the weather it suits, season, distance, length and rough cost.
Place details, opening days and hours included, are as we found them when we checked in October 2026, and they can change. KidyGrow cannot vouch that they still hold, so check before you set off. Where a place has an official page, it is linked on the card. Places that need a booking or run to a timetable carry a badge saying so.
- Age. Tick more than one age and every idea has to suit every child.
- Distance. Measured as a straight line from your town, stretched a little for roads. It is a rough guide, not a drive time.
- Weather. The forecast comes from Open-Meteo. Rain means a 60% or higher chance of precipitation, cold is a daily high of 5 °C or below, hot is 28 °C or above.
- Plan B. When the best pick is outdoors, one under a roof comes with it.
- Saturday and Sunday. Sunday does not repeat Saturday, and things that usually only happen on Saturdays (libraries, workshops) are not offered for Sunday.
