Today
Stir finely-grated cooked beetroot into the olive sauce. She likes the colour and the taste is sweet. Goal: third successful vegetable inside 3 weeks.
Tonight
For the last 4 days Lana has stretched bedtime by 15–20 min through book-picking. Offer her a choice of 2 (not 3) and you decide the order. Goal: bedtime locked at 19:30 + it doesn't feel like a take-away.

MoreLessLana is the second child — older brother Marko is 4. She walks confidently from month 13, says 4 clear words (mama, dada, milk, car) and gestures a lot. Right now she's in the 'six-foods phase' — refuses most vegetables, eats cheese, pasta, banana, yogurt, bread, and cooked chicken. Weight and height are around the 50th percentile, pediatrician is tracking. Mum Ivona returned to work part-time six weeks ago — grandma Vera comes from 8 to 14. Marko doesn't eat vegetables either, and Lana watches and mirrors. Two events coming up: MMR vaccination tomorrow and a preventive speech-therapy assessment in 10 days (mum wanted a proactive check, not a diagnostic referral). The two questions on Ivona's mind now: 'how do I widen her foods without stress' and 'are 4 words enough at 16 months'.
